When we're open

Important

We are closed on bank holidays. See our events and closures page to learn more.

  • The telephone lines open from 8:30am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 6:30pm each day (12:30pm to 1:30pm is for medical emergencies only).
  • The Administration and Secretarial offices are open from 8:30am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 5pm each day.
  • Extended hours are available (for Bethesda patients only) on Friday morning from 7am to 8am, Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday mornings (variable hours, bookable on Fridays only).

When we're closed

Enhanced Access

We are now able to offer appointments (subject to availability) for evenings and weekends with our extended hours service. These appointments are held at Bethesda Medical Centre. Please see the following weekly schedule:

  • Tuesdays 6:30pm to 8pm at Bethesda Medical Centre
  • Wednesdays 6:30pm to 8pm at Bethesda Medical Centre
  • Fridays 6:30pm to 8pm at Bethesda Medical Centre
  • Saturdays 10am to 8pm with the Acute Response Team at QEQM
  • Sundays 10am to 8pm with the Acute Response Team at QEQM

These appointments can only be booked by the Reception team at Bethesda Medical Centre during the standard opening hours. Please ask at Reception or call 01843 209 300 for more information.

Life Threatening

Call 999 or go to A&E now if:

  • you or someone you know needs immediate help
  • you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose

A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.

Visit an urgent care centre if:

  • You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention

  • You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
